Our mission is to promote education and research
Who We Are
The California Estuarine Research Society (CAERS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of education and research regarding California's and Baja California's estuarine and coastal environments.
We are an official affiliate of the international Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation (CERF) whose purpose is to:
- promote research in estuarine & coastal waters
- promote communication among scientists, engineers, other associated professionals, and students
- provide a source of advice in matters concerning estuaries and the coastal zone
